About this event

AI (Artificial Intelligence) is software that can “think” or act smartly by learning patterns. It helps us do tasks faster, and sometimes more safely but it’s not human.

Come and learn from SAIL Tech Tutor Dave Friedman on how AI can help you (convenience, safety, independence, staying connected, entertainment and learning), learn about things to know for safety (beware of scams, protecting your privacy, and how AI can make mistakes), tips for using AI (ask questions, check before trusting, use settings wisely, and get help) and see some examples on how you can use it in your daily lives (writing help, daily living, hobbies, brain games).

If you didn’t attend the previous AI presentation, this session will cover all the fundamentals and get you up to speed. If you did attend, you’ll see new examples, discover how much AI has evolved in just six months, and have chance to ask more questions.
