SAIL's sponsoring organization, Madison Area Continuing Care Consortium, Inc., hired Ann in early 2004 as a consultant to launch SAIL as a Naturally Occurring Retirement Community. Several years prior, she was an assisted living administrator at Oakwood Village. These experiences, plus her Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Psychology from UW-Madison, helped prepare her for the challenges of getting SAIL off the ground. In addition to leading the SAIL team, she is responsible for information and referral, member consultation, marketing, financial management and community outreach at SAIL.

Laura knew SAIL would be the perfect place to work because she is a long time friend of several Madison area seniors and a former caregiver for her own mother. Laura worked for more than 25 years as a marketing director for the State Bar of Wisconsin and Lois Law. She has travelled extensively and now enjoys her part-time work making the lives of seniors better and more enjoyable. She helped develop and coordinates SAIL's new personal emergency pendant service, SAIL S.O.S. She also oversees the vendor service, assuring our members have pre-screened, qualified and trustworthy people to call. Laura provides bookkeeping, marketing and administrative support, as well.
